Schools from all over the Netherlands come to the Concertgebouw to enjoy a wide range of activities. So that pupils can discover and experience just how special music can be. Not only by listening, but primarily by getting down and doing it themselves and actively being involved in specific projects. This involvement begins at school, in your classroom. Using educational material specially developed for each individual project.

Projects for primary schools
A Concertgebouw project begins with you in the classroom. With educational material that is handled by you or by a music teacher (depending on the project). In which the passing on of information and the enthusiasm of pupils go hand in hand. A project ends with a visit by you and your pupils to our own beautiful classroom in which famous musicians, orchestras and ensembles can lead your pupils around the multi-facetted world of music.
