Sprint Seats...get your breath back in the Concertgebouw

Would you like to hear a fantastic concert for only 10? Then go to the box office in the Concertgebouw 45 minutes before starting time and get yourself a Sprint Seat! Because, for young people aged up to 27, that is the affordable last-minute way of getting to hear a concert in the Concertgebouw. Internationally famous orchestras and soloists, jazz and world music: in principle the discount applies to any concert for which seats are still available. Please check the concert agenda on this website, or ring our 24-hour information line at 020-5730511.

Conditions: Sprint Seats cannot be reserved and are not transferable. At the box office, and upon entry to the concert, proof of identity will be requested confirming the age of the bearer. Management reserves the right to restrict the number of Sprint Seats.

Cultural Youth Passes (CJP)

Holders of a Cultural Youth Passport (CJP) are eligible for a discount in many places in the Netherlands, and it goes without saying that the same applies at the Concertgebouw. Information about concerts is always accompanied by information about precisely which discounts apply. This makes it important to consult the website and/or the brochures regularly. There is often a discount for concerts given by, for example, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra or the Dutch Philharmonic Orchestra, for the Riaskoff Master Pianists series, the Saturday Matinee, the Sunday Morning concerts, and for the productions organised by the Concertgebouw itself. A CJP costs € 12.50 and can be purchased at a number of theatres and VVV offices.

Old Age Pensioner Passes (Pas 65)

The Pas 65 not only offers a discount on public transport, but also in a large number of cultural institutions. Many concerts held in the Concertgebouw offer a discount for those older than 65, and in each case the discount is specified in the concert information to be found on this website or in the brochures.

N.B.: Discounts are only given upon display of a valid Pas 65. For further information you can check the website or contact the Civil Affairs department of the town or city council where you live.

Pas 65

City Passes (Stadspas)

A City Pass often offers a discount for a concert for which discounts are also given to holders of a CJP or Pas 65, but usually this only applies on the same day as the concert. In cases where a discount is also available when buying tickets for a concert in advance, this is indicated in the concert information to be found on our website or in our brochures. Discounts are also regularly given in combination with the Special Reduction Cheques (Voordeelcheques) that come together with a City Pass.

Stadspas

Always friendly priced

Every Wednesday afternoon during the cultural season, from the beginning of September to the end of June, a free lunch concert is offered in the Concertgebouw at 12.30 p.m.

The Sunday morning concerts can be attended for a standard low price. It is possible to attend these concerts - given every Sunday during the same period from September to June and between 11.00 a.m. and Midday - for only € 16,50. Children up to the age of 15 and those with a CJP or Stadspas pay € 9,-. By retaining and showing your concert ticket you can also get an extra discount if you visit one of the neighbouring museums on the same day.

Each year during the months of July and August the Concertgebouw presents the Robeco Summer Concerts, which offer a varied programme for a friendly price.  Children and holders of a CJP or Stadspas receive a 50 % discount.
