The young violinist Noa Wildschut (2001) studies at both the famous Hochschule für Musik Hans Eissler in Berlin and the Conservatory of Amsterdam. She won many national and international awards, among which the Anton Kersjes Violin Scholarship in 2017. Her debut CD Mozart was recently nominated for the Edison Classic Public Award 2018.
Philips Symphony Orchestra
In 85 years’ time, the Philips Symphony Orchestra (PSO) has developed from a small group of music friends into one of the largest and most renowned symphonic orchestras of the Netherlands. Its more than 90 members include professional musicians and advanced amateurs from greater Eindhoven, and what they all share is a deep passion for classical music. The orchestra brings five different programmes per year, frequenting top venues such as Muziekgebouw Eindhoven and Concertgebouw Amsterdam. Maestro Jules van Hessen
During the last 30 years, the PSO has been led by the inspiring conductor Jules van Hessen. Jules is a much sought-after conductor and tv personality and is very succesful with the concert series Maestro Jules reveals. By the end of 2017 Jules van Hessen was knighted in the Order of Oranje Nassau because of his dedication and ambassadorship towards the classical music genre.
