After a month of performing her show Vrijplaats in the Carré Theatre and touring throughout the Netherlands, Dutch pop singer Wende is winding up her concert series Vrijplaats op tour in The Concertgebouw. Vrijplaats op tour has Wende taking a pure approach to her music, and she’s going back to basics. Together with pianist Nils, she’ll create a uniquely intimate mood using nothing more than two pianos, a voice and a song. The guest artist – a well-known or up-and-coming performer who Wende admires for their musical purity – will provide some extra colour. Exactly who will be appearing next to Wende on the Main Hall stage is a surprise.
