Rising Korean musicians who are making their mark on the international stage have come together. Dayoon You, Sejune Kim, Woochan Jeong and Youl Sun will play piano quartets by Mozart, Fauré and Brahms.
An Evening with Four Young Virtuosos
Some of Korea’s most promising young classical musicians - laureates of prestigious competitions across Europe and Asia - unite for a rare and captivating chamber music program. Each has made a name as a soloist, yet together they reveal another dimension of artistry: a shared sensitivity and musical insight that animates every phrase they play.
Mozart, Fauré and Brahms
In this program, three major works for piano quartet,by Mozart, Fauré, and Brahms,form a journey through emotional landscapes and stylistic eras. These composers, each in his their own time, turned to the piano quartet to express the intimate and the grand, the lyrical and the stormy. Performed by this outstanding ensemble, the music speaks anew, with clarity, depth, and quiet power.
