The Streamers continue their Holland Tour with a concert at The Concertgebouw. Under the name Streamers & Strings, the largest band in the Netherlands will give a one-off performance together with the Metropole Orkest. This performance by The Streamers is the most intimate since they started playing in front of an audience. After the online concerts, the collective played three times at the Olympic Stadium and five times at the Gelredome. All concerts were sold out. On Sunday 14 September, the tour will continue for just 2,000 people, who will see no fewer than 21 Dutch artists perform with the Metropole Orkest.

Classics from the past and hits from today

The concert was announced in a special video on social media. Manager and guest conductor Frank Lammers has a new master plan and asks Roxy Dekker, Zoë Tauran, Ronnie Flex and Snelle to pack string instruments for shipment to the other band members via rapper Bizzey. Yves Berendse also appears on screen as a new member of The Streamers. The group also includes well-known Dutch names such as Guus Meeuwis, Thomas Acda, Paul de Munnik, Flemming, Emma Heesters, Paul de Leeuw, Nick Schilder, Simon Keizer, Diggy Dex, Miss Montreal, Typhoon, Rolf Sanchez and VanVelzen.

Frank Lammers: 'With Streamers & Strings, we are challenging ourselves to bring together the classics of yesteryear and the hits of today, accompanied by the most beautiful orchestra in the Netherlands. After the online concerts and large stadiums, we want to bring something new, treating our fans to the absolute beauty of music. We realise that due to limited capacity, we cannot make everyone happy. Because everyone can register first and a lottery follows, everyone has an equal chance of getting tickets. And of course, we also have a surprise in store for all those other people, because after all, we are The Streamers'.

About The Streamers

The Streamers became famous in 2021 for their online concerts during the coronavirus pandemic. From venues such as Carré, Paleis Noordeinde, De Kuip and Efteling, they gave live-streamed concerts that attracted a total of 7.5 million viewers. In 2022, the band performed in front of an audience for the first time at the Olympic Stadium, followed by concerts at the Gelredome in 2023 and 2024. The band performed again at Efteling in 2023 via a live stream during Christmas. All proceeds from that evening went to War Child.
