Ludovico Einaudi is back in the Main Hall! For two intimate concerts in which he will play his most beloved pieces solo on the piano, along with lesser-known gems and a few surprises. It will be an emotional journey through an oeuvre that transcends genres and boundaries and is characterized by lyrical minimalism, expressive depth, and a direct connection with the listener.

Once you are captivated by Einaudi's minimalist yet rich soundscape, there is no turning back. Einaudi composes a lot of music for films, but also regularly releases fantastic solo albums. He always manages to move the listener to the fullest with minimal means. This has made Einaudi a legendary piano composer who can be mentioned in the same breath as Chopin, Satie, and Philip Glass.
'Magical'
During an interview with Twan Huys on College Tour, Einaudi said that the Main Hall is perhaps his favorite venue: 'The acoustics here are fantastic. The sound is so open and beautiful. Here, the sound breathes, it travels, it flows through the space. It's truly magical.' Einaudi last performed in Amsterdam in 2024. Together with a thirteen-piece string orchestra, he enchanted the Main Hall. Now he is back for two concerts, performing solo on the piano.
