The eccentric and versatile French piano virtuoso Alexandre Tharaud performs as soloist in Gershwin's swinging piano concerto Rhapsody in Blue. Under the baton of Duncan Ward, Philzuid also performs Stravinsky's masterful fairy-tale ballet Petrushka, in which a dazzling puppet show comes to life at a festive Russian fair.
