Four members of Amsterdam Sinfonietta and pianist Olli Mustonen chose this piece, which is not 'Rule Britannia' music, but rather a pot of strong Earl Grey on a gloomy morning. Mustonen will also perform his own Piano Quintet. You are in for a treat: Mustonen's way of making music is extremely sparkling and a joy to watch. The program opens with Benjamin Britten’s short - but no less virtuosic - Reveille for violin and piano.
