The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra is performing works by Samy Moussa, the ZaterdagMatinee’s composer-in-residence. Furthermore, in its home city and as part of the Matinee series, the orchestra will present the Dutch premiere of Julia Wolfe’s impressive oratorio Fire in my mouth, a work that gives a voice to 146 women who have shared a similar fate.
