During ADE, the Choir Hall transforms into a bustling club space standing room only - for Neon River and FAST DE. Neon River, the Amsterdam-based trio led by synth virtuoso Chaerin Im, will present their new album tonight. Jazz craftsmanship, live electronics, and irresistible grooves come together in an energetic dance floor experience. Drawing on influences from Floating Points and Aphex Twin, they build their sets entirely live. Afterward, FAST DE will present a live adaptation of his album FUN. Expect an unpredictable show from this Amsterdam artist, where chaos and order, adventure, and dancing come together.
Important for ADE Pro Pass holders
A limited number of tickets for this concert have been reserved for ADE Pro Pass holders. The tickets will remain reserved until 15 minutes before the start of the concert, between 8.15 pm and 8.45 pm. After that, the tickets will be released at the box office for other visitors. So make sure you pick up your ticket on time by showing your ADE wristband at the desk in the entrance hall (entrance: Concertgebouwplein 10, not at the desk in the lobby). Full = full.
Amsterdam Dance Event in The Concertgebouw
Since Trouw at Concertgebouw with Henrik Schwarz, Darkside and Patrice Bäumel (2013), it has been impossible to imagine The Concertgebouw without ADE. Every year during the festival, The Concertgebouw presents one or more special concerts exploring the interfaces and boundaries between electronic, classical and timeless music. In recent years, for example, Weval, MEUTE, Young Marco, Jarreau Vandal, Legowelt, Lamsi, Darkside, Junkie XL en Nils Frahm have been guests. After dj Sasha's performance in 2014, 3voor12 wrote about electronic music in The Concertgebouw: 'If God was a dj, he wants this to be his house'.
