Guitar Masters

The guitar takes centre stage during five unforgettable concerts. In the Masters of the Guitar series, virtuosos from all corners of the globe will perform in the Recital Hall. They will transport you with the rich timbres of their vibrant instrument. The series opens with a debut: Carlotta Dalia. With numerous competitions on her CV, the Italian artist will perform music ranging from Bach to Castelnuovo-Tedesco in Amsterdam. 

After many years, Marcin Dylla returns to our stage with a Spanish-Mexican programme. Let Rafael Aguirre surprise you with his colourful programme, in which Barrios, Mangoré and Bonfá feature alongside Chopin and Mendelssohn. The charismatic Petrit Çeku presents his own arrangement of Barber’s Adagio for Strings. Stephanie Jones joins us from Australia. She combines music from her own country with Piazzolla’s The Four Seasons.
