The Ammodo Conducting Masterclass offers a unique opportunity to witness talented young conductors being trained by Iván Fischer, while they are leading the Concertgebouw Orchestra.

The Ammodo Masterclass gives several talented young conductors the chance to actually conduct the Concertgebouw Orchestra while at the same time receiving instruction from a prominent conductor over a period of several days. In June 2025, our honorary guest conductor Iván Fischer will be presiding, sharing some of his knowledge and experience with the next generation. Iván Fischer is both a visionary conductor and a great pedagogue. Under his supervision the candidates will be conducting the orchestra in a varied selection of works from the symphonic repertoire
