Composer and bandleader Tijn Wybenga shifts effortlessly between the worlds of jazz and electronica. During performances, he samples solos from his thirteen-piece all-star ensemble Brainteaser Orchestra and transforms them into adventurous sound sculptures. With their debut album Brainteaser, Tijn and his Orchestra won the German Jazz Prize for “Best International Debut Album” in 2022. Now there is new music, with which the orchestra once again presents a tantalizing mix of live electronics and improvisation.
