About the concert
Although Anton Bruckner's symphonies are what we remember him for, he was world famous during his lifetime for his genius at improvising on the organ. Today his French counterpart Thierry Escaich is also making a name for himself internationally as an orchestral composer. This afternoon he'll be the soloist in his own Third Organ Concerto.
