About the concert
Brahms' Double Concerto is double the fun, since there are two superb soloists on stage: the Georgian violinist Lisa Batiashvili and German cellist Maximilian Hornung. Chief conductor Lorenzo Viotti will lead the orchestra in Antonín Dvořák's darkly emotional Seventh Symphony.

The opening programme starts at 7:40 pm and consists of an introduction to the works, or an interview with the conductor or soloist, or an intimate concert by the musicians from the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra|Netherlands Chamber Orchestra.
