The Ammodo Masterclass gives several talented young conductors the chance to actually conduct the Concertgebouw Orchestra while at the same time receiving instruction from a prominent conductor over a period of several days. In June 2024, maestro Christian Thielemann will be presiding, sharing some of his knowledge and experience with the next generation. Under his supervision the candidates will be conducting the orchestra in a varied selection of works from the symphonic repertoire.
