Due to its huge success, Roxeanne Hazes will be giving an extra concert in the Main Hall this summer! Tonight, the singer will be performing music from her first two albums, supplemented with new songs and surprising covers. Especially for this concert in the Main Hall, she will not only be bringing her own band, but also the ZO! Gospel Choir. With this concert, Roxeanne is following in the footsteps of her father André Hazes, who gave a legendary concert in the Concert Hall in 1982.

It goes without saying that The Concertgebouw and jazz & pop music make a perfect combination. The stages of both the Main Hall and the Recital Hall have borne witness to nearly the whole of jazz history. Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald have both performed here, as have Miles Davis and Louis Armstrong.
