Piano Nights with Helena Basilova and Hannes Minnaar

At Piano Nights, the piano takes center stage, and you’ll hear the most beautiful piano music of all time. In an intimately lit hall, two pianists each present a completely different repertoire. Expect, for example, delightful romantic melodies by classical composers, as well as captivating works by neoclassical heroes such as Ludovico Einaudi. Past editions of Piano Nights have already featured several amazing pianists; tonight, the stage belongs to Helena Basilova and Hannes Minnaar. Helena collaborates with musicians and artists worldwide, always seeking new ways to connect with the audience. She holds a special place in her heart for the music of the famous Japanese (film) composer Ryuichi Sakamoto. She will perform several of his beloved works, including some together with Hannes Minnaar. Hannes is a brilliant classical pianist who regularly performs the most virtuosic and famous piano concertos at The Concertgebouw. Tonight, he will perform some of the most popular classical works for piano. And as with every Piano Nights: after the concert, a drink will be waiting for you, and you can stay for a while to chat.
