Entrée Study Sessions

Entrée Study Sessions

  • This concert has no intermission

On Thursday 21 January, you’ll be studying or working in a place you won’t soon forget: the iconic Main Hall of The Concertgebouw. Entrée, the youth club of The Concertgebouw and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, is opening its doors especially for you. Whilst you get stuck into your work or studies, live classical music will be playing to help you concentrate. You’re welcome from 11am to 3 pm. Bring your laptop or notebook, find a cosy spot and get stuck into that deadline, dissertation or to-do list. Need to recharge your batteries? Pop into Café Viotta for a coffee, cappuccino or another treat.

Guided-meditatiesessie van Levels Below

In this edition, you can combine the Study Sessions with a guided meditation session by Levels Below in the Choir Hall of The Concertgebouw. It begins with a brief discussion about attention: what it means to you and why it seems to be becoming increasingly scarce. You will then experience how you can deepen your focus. No prior experience is required. With a clear focus, you’ll then step into the Main Hall, where you’ll spend the rest of the day working or studying with live classical music playing in the background.

Book the Levels Below Session when you buy your ticket for the Study Session. You can choose between a session from 10 to 11am or from 11 to 12am. A ticket for the Study Sessions costs €2.50 per person. For the Levels Below Session, you pay an extra €10 per person. You can order a maximum of four tickets per person. There is a €5 transaction fee per order, so be sure to order together with your friends, colleagues or fellow students.
